Let’s go outside the circle, to the place of No Beginning, No Ending, and No Connecting

(But not if your friends have anything to say about it)

The Finale of Sarazanmai was everything I could ever want and more, and is STILL haunting me–the allure of self-isolation, the struggle to fight against it and maintain connections to others despite being painfully aware that all might NOT turn out right in the future feels very ever-relevant. It was encouraging while also feeling very real, and it was wonderful and cathartic to see the characters striving to hold onto each other when before they had done everything to push each other away. It’s rare to say for me that a piece of media inspires me to reconsider my own thinking patterns and try to live better and healthier, but this is definitely one of them. 10/10 would recommend
